"Fantastic Tours"

Isle of Skye Itinerary

The information below is an example, please be aware that we can put together a tour to suit your needs (bespoke tours) for the number of days that you want.

Day 1 (example from Glasgow)

Glasgow city is only 30 minutes from beautiful Loch Lomond and this is the first part of the route to Skye. We will stop at one of three great view points on Loch Lomond dependant upon weather and circumstance. Later there is a fantastic couple of stops at Glencoe Mountain and Glencoe itself. All of these stops offer great photo opportunities in most weather types.

If you think that the scenery couldn't get any better, then just wait for the next part. We now travel up to Fort William and here we will stop for lunch followed by an afternoon of ever increasing awesome scenery with a stop at world famous Eilean Donan Castle on Loch Duich. In the late afternoon/early evening we will cross over the Skye bridge and head for your accommodation, and restaurant reservations.

Day2

There are many, many days worth of places to see in Skye and we will mould the trip to suit you. However here is a few thoughts. From your accommodation we head on a grand journey which includes Fairy Glen, the Quarang, Storr and much more. Lunch at Portree and then a journey of discovery to some hidden gems to the south of the main part of the Island.

Which areas we visit will depend upon our discussions with you about your trip and our suggestions to fit in with the time of year that you are visiting. We will listen to your thoughts and needs and come up with a day of scenery and events that you will never forget.

Day3

This last day is not just a dash back to your starting point but a carefully planned excursion in its own right. After breakfast we head on the first ferry to Mallaig and take in the seascape before driving south to Morar followed by the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct and Visitor Centre.

Following the stunning Argyll Coast we head down to the Falls of Lora and the amazing Connel Bridge. From here we head east to St Conans Kirk and then Kilchurn Castle. After this we take you back to your accommodation in Glasgow.
